Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Kooki is an iOS app published by Louis Astrieud, France. Contact: kooki.support@gmail.com.

2. What Kooki does

Kooki lets you import recipes from a link (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, cooking websites), a photo or a text, organize them into folders, plan your meals and generate your shopping list.

3. Your account

• You create your account with Apple or with an email address and a password.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for actions taken from your account.
• You can delete your account at any time: Profile → Delete my account.

4. The KOOKI+ subscription

• Access to Kooki requires a KOOKI+ subscription, monthly or yearly. The price is shown in the app before any purchase.
• Free trial: when a trial is offered, its length is shown before purchase. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the paid subscription starts automatically.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews at the end of each period, at the same price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple account.
• Cancel: on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kooki. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
• Refunds: payments are handled by Apple. Requests are made at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. The recipes you import

Recipes, photos and videos published by creators remain their property. Kooki helps you save them for your personal, private use, and keeps the link to the original post.

You agree not to use Kooki to republish, sell or distribute other people's content without their permission. You remain responsible for the content you import or add.

6. Artificial intelligence and nutrition

Recipes are extracted automatically by artificial intelligence. Despite our efforts, a recipe card may contain errors or omissions: check the ingredients, quantities, cooking times and temperatures.

Allergies and diets: always check the original recipe and product packaging. Nutritional values are estimates, given for information only: they do not replace the advice of a health professional.

7. Fair use

You agree not to misuse Kooki: no attempts to access other users' data, no automated or bulk use of the service, no unlawful content.

In case of a breach, we may suspend or delete the account concerned.

8. Ownership of the app

The Kooki app, its name, logo, design and code belong to its publisher. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for as long as you use the app.

9. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep Kooki running at all times, without being able to guarantee it: importing depends in particular on social networks, which may restrict access to some posts (private accounts, deleted posts).

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for use of the recipes contrary to section 6. Nothing in these terms limits your consumer rights.

10. Apple

These terms are between you and the publisher of Kooki, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple's standard license agreement applies to anything these terms do not cover.

11. Changes

These terms may change as the app evolves. We will let you know in the app about any significant change.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of disagreement, please contact us first: we will look for an amicable solution. If you are a consumer, you may also use a consumer mediator free of charge, or bring the matter before the competent court.
